Eudler Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

Eudler ("we", "our") is a deep work practice app at eudler.com, with an optional Chrome extension that docks it in your browser's side panel. This page explains what data Eudler collects, why, and how it's handled.

Account data

Creating an account requires an email address, handled by Supabase Auth. If you sign in with a password, that password is hashed and stored by Supabase — Eudler never sees or stores it in plain text. If you use a magic link instead, we send it via Resend, a transactional email provider, using only your email address for that purpose.

Content you create

Eudler stores the content you create while using the app in our Postgres database (via Supabase), tied to your account: project titles, descriptions and notes (Salon), captured thoughts and idea-graph nodes (Library, Deep Work Chamber), and generated missions and tasks (Office). This content exists so the app can function — it is not sold, shared, or used for advertising.

AI assistant

The Library's brainstorm chat sends the text you type to Eudler's own backend, which runs an open-weight language model (Llama 3.1). Nothing you send there goes to a third-party AI provider — it's processed on infrastructure we operate. This is only used to generate conversational responses and does not train any model.

On-device processing

To detect related ideas in your Library graph, Eudler runs a small embedding model (all-MiniLM-L6-v2) entirely in your browser. Text processed this way never leaves your device.

Chrome extension

The optional Eudler Chrome extension docks the app in Chrome's side panel. Because the side panel's embedded content runs in a separate browser storage partition from a normal tab, the extension uses the storage permission to temporarily cache two things locally in your browser, via chrome.storage.local:

This data stays on your device, inside the extension's own local storage. It is never transmitted to us or any third party beyond being relayed, unmodified, to the Eudler web app itself (the same site you're already signed into) so it can restore your session. It is cleared when you sign out.

Analytics

We use GoatCounter, a privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics service, to see aggregate page-view counts. It does not track individual users across sites or collect personal data.

What we don't do

Deleting your data

Deleting a project in the Salon also deletes its associated Library graph and clears its mission/tasks. To delete your account and all associated data entirely, contact us using the email below.
